Hey SWAV family,

This is the introduction to the SWAV blog. Written by myself, Simon, the founder of SWAV.

This blog will cover all things SWAV, updates we've made to our system, plans, exciting conversations, events, the content we create with the barbering community, and much more.

We'll start by giving a small intro as to where this all started. The lightbulb moment, so to speak, haha

SWAV began in 2019 when my friends and I discussed our loyalty to our barbers, a unique relationship beyond cultures, race, and socio-economic background.

We realized that this relationship goes beyond any customer service relationship. Barbers become our friends, therapists, and everywhere in between.

Then the question came to mind, what if there was a product or service we could offer that could reward both barbers and their clients for this loyalty?

That was the moment when SWAV began, and three years later, We are still working towards building on top of the foundations of that question.
